About
This website is just a result of me realizing that I can make my pointless tangents public. For the longest time, I used to awkwardly share images over Discord or WhatsApp to show my friends something cool/interesting. I ended up forgetting most of what I’d made, until I went back through my messages one day, and came to notice the younger me was exploring stuff in surprising detail; detail that was wasted in a dead chat.
I hope to have that be organized neatly, here.

Me?
I’m currently working at Vector Consulting Group (Mumbai). The work I do day to day is quite different from what’s showcased here, but rest assured, I am quite the tinkerer in everything backend engineering. My personal interests (in no particular order) would be:
- Optimisation (got some nice reads on this)
- Databases (mostly Postgres)
- Rendering
- 日本語 (japanese study)
- Reverse Engineering
- lecturing people on why they should use neovim
and some more niche topics that deserve their own blogs.
What do I do?
I’ve had my hands in various jars, from writing excel scripts for my dad, to running a youtube channel (~30k subs) that funded my first actual desktop PC, all the way to reverse engineering old games, writing simple gameboy emulators, automating roblox minigames using OpenCV, to writing services handling millions of requests for popular games like Steal a Brainrot and Nuke Your City.
You’d be surprised by the amount of traffic these roblox games can generate. Steal a Brainrot generated around 20-30 million requests in a week to a simple reward claim system. The kind of scale I never expected when I first took up the gig.
(You can read about how I handled that nightmare by not handling it at all, here.)
I have always had a fascination with Game Engines and specifically various rendering tricks that they use to fool the average person into thinking a flat screen contains a 3D world within it. I always strive to learn a little bit more about these tricks, slowly building up a repertoire.
I’ve got ~2 years under my belt, a fledgling by all means, but a very eager one. This time was split across freelance work and internships during my college days for Classify, and Vector Consulting Group. Learned a significant bit from them, especially the illusion of seamless cross-platform nature of Flutter at Classify, or the perils of working with a BaaS like Firebase.
